Chiyo Komano

She is the first "Priestess of the White Dragon" in the series who does not serve as the story's protagonist.

A childhood friend of Hagio Kudan—a member of the Star Clan—she is not a modern-day person transported to another world like Azusa Takatsuka.

Although she was the only daughter of a merchant family in Kyoto, she was chosen as the Priestess of the White Dragon and came to be under the protection of the Imperial Army. She is a spirited and resilient young woman.
