Violence Tokkyuu

In addition to its regular divisions, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division had a unit called Special Investigation Section 0, which brought together maverick detectives. Takuma Date, a martial arts master, and Kikuchiyo Tokumaru, an unrivaled womanizer, both members of Section 0, were known as the “Violence Express” due to their reckless actions. Riding in their specially modified, armed patrol car, the “Violence,” they crushed criminals. This police action series depicts the exploits of a duo who, were it not for their title as detectives, would simply be terrorists. It has the feel of a “Western Police” series that was ahead of its time. In short, any characters the protagonist (the author) dislikes are mercilessly taken down. (Source: Shueisha, translated)
