Felix Hugo Fraldarius

He is the second son and heir of Duke Rodrigue of House Fraldarius, the leading noble house of the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus.

He is a student in the Blue Lions house at the Officers Academy within Garreg Mach Monastery—the class for students hailing from Faerghus. He is a childhood friend of his classmates Dimitri, Sylvain, and Ingrid.

A cynical loner, he adopts a prickly attitude toward others; he calls Dimitri—the house leader and the prince he serves—a "boar," and refers to Dedue, who devotes himself entirely to the prince, as a "dog."

Ingrid regards him as a troublemaker (though, judging by support conversations, it seems he is often simply dragged into trouble by Sylvain...).

He is tireless in honing his swordsmanship and is eager to spar with anyone he deems strong. He loves combat so much that he wanted to cross swords with the protagonist immediately upon their arrival as a teacher, and even upon hearing about the Death Knight, he insisted, "I've always wanted to test my skills against that guy."

Despite being a noble heir and the bearer of a Major Crest, he believes that "it is foolish to neglect training out of arrogance regarding one's Crest or noble status"—a philosophy he backs up with immense personal effort.

While he is sharp-tongued and harsh toward others, his fellow Blue Lions students understand that he is actually kind-hearted and deeply cares for his comrades (he denies this himself, so to put it bluntly, his personality leans toward kuudere or tsundere).

He possesses great pride but never fails to put in the effort required to back it up with genuine skill; furthermore, as mentioned, he respects and cares for others—making him a character who embodies the spirit of a true warrior.
