Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd

He is the first prince of the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, which holds territory in northern Fódlan. During the White Clouds chapter, he serves as the house leader of the "Blue Lions" —comprising students from the Kingdom—at the Officers Academy within Garreg Mach Monastery.

He is a childhood friend of his classmates Felix, Ingrid, and Sylvain, as well as Felix's older brother, Glenn. He is also acquainted with Catherine and Gilbert, both of whom hail from the Kingdom and serve as knights of the Church of Seiros.

His personality perfectly matches the impression he gives: polite, earnest, and kind. He maintains good relationships with his classmates, and the Blue Lions house as a whole shares a calm, serious atmosphere.

He aspires to create a peaceful world where the weak are not oppressed. While all three house leaders share this goal, their approaches differ: Edelgard seeks to transform society into one based on equality rather than birthright or Crests, and Claude aims for a society that transcends ethnic and religious divides. Thus, their paths share both similarities and differences.

Regarding Crests, he believes that while their existence is acceptable, allowing them to dictate everything is an outdated notion. He views the Goddess not as an active intervener, but as a presence that merely watches over humanity from the heavens—unable to reach out or grasp a hand in return, no matter how fervently one pleads for help.

Although he embodies the ideals of chivalry, the protagonist senses a shadow lurking beneath his surface from the very first meeting. This is likely because, while he deeply values the well-being of the weak, he can reveal a ruthlessly severe side when dealing with those he deems strong—or mobs—who threaten that peace.

He is a descendant of Blaiddyd—one of the Ten Elites of Fódlan—and bears the Minor Crest of Blaiddyd. Due to the influence of his Crest, he possesses immense strength that belies his refreshing appearance.
